Soap Box Writing is a platform for me to exercise my writing ability and to express my interest in the stories of the world. While primarily I will write about topics that I personally find interesting, I do plan on attempting to cover more broad, important topics in order to expand my horizons as well to give me a challenge to write about.     While one of the main reasons for starting this blog is to practice my writing, another major influence for getting me to begin writing articles is to experiment more with journalistic writing.
